'Das Sammeln zeitgenössischer Kunst‘ Ein ganzheitlicher Ansatz

Info
'Das Sammeln zeitgenössischer Kunst' ('Collecting Contemporary Art') is a useful guide for all those art collectors and art lovers who want to be able to rely on instructions, practical insights and tips when finding their feet in what is an ever more complex 'art business'. In the book, Franz Wojda takes his cue from a wish to achieve two things: to highlight the enthusiasm that drives art collectors and at the same time to provide a rational basis for art collections. This is likewise the approach behind the articles in the book by international art and art market experts, and the interviews with important artists. Alongside an appraisal of the art business as a whole, the guide also addresses topics such as the work of art itself, how to find one's way around the art market, types of collectors, the collection process and decision-making with regard to focal points of the collection, through to collection budgets, presenting and managing a collection, legal parameters and tax issues.
The book also originated on the basis of interviews with the following artists:
John Armleder, Erwin Bohatsch, Martin Guttmann (Clegg & Guttmann), Helmut Federle, Katharina Grosse, Markus Huemer, Manuel Knapp, Brigitte Kowanz, Karin Sander, Eva Schlegel, Esther Stocker, Gerold Tagwerker, Günter Umberg, Heimo Zobernig
