WHAT IS CONTEMPORARY ART TODAY?
We are looking for your groundbreaking ideas ...
THE ARTWARD
is an international art competition awarded by ICAA e.K..
It exists since 2010 and is currently awarded for the 7th time.
The prize is focused on the young talents in art. The prize money (total budget for 2014 is about € 10,000), as well as artist-in-residence programs offer artists the opportunity to implement new projects. The prize is democratic and transparent. Each candidate is given an unique URL page with text and images, and is promoted on our social network platforms.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The Open Call is open to anybody!
We include all talented artists, from any of the creative industries and from all the arts genres in the arts and cultural sectors. Artists must be over 18 years old, and of course they need to have huge talent.
SUBMIT YOUR IDEA ONLINE
We need to understand your vision. Please give us a brief 300-word description of your work. You can submit a three minute video, a piece of audio or a jpg image.
Please submit your online application any time until 12-noon GMT (1pm BST) on Tuesday 30 September 2014. The closing deadline will not be extended.
All applications will be expertly assessed against the eligibility criteria by an international jury and the ARTWARD team and a decision made within a month.
If your submission is shortlisted, we will inform you on or before 15 October 2014. Those shortlisted will be asked for a detailed proposal.
