The DNSEP / Masters in exhibition design at the National School of Fine Arts, Lyon relies on the exhibition as a tool which allows the construction of a practice and culture of design.

The exhibition is a discourse, a mode of construction and dissemination of knowledge. It is also a physical space, that has to be built, organized, designed – a space in which paths of specific temporalities, meetings and experiences must be imagined. All tasks that can be considered in the field of design through the use of its specific methods and tools.

The Masters degree thus deals with the issues surrounding exhibition design without transforming the question of set design into a speciality.

The Masters programme is aimed at students with a bachelor of design degree (architecture, interior design, product design, stage design), according to the Bologna Process. The applicants are examined by a specific commission (an entrance committee, mid-curriculum, or equivalence). For entry to the 1st semester of 2014, registration is open from December 21st 2013 to February 21st, 2014.
