O.R.A. Art Prize was created to connect galleries and artists.
Every year, a jury composed entirely by galleries throughout Italy, selects an artist each to which dedicate a solo exhibition. The shipping costs are covered by a reimbursement offered by the prize, the exhibitions are obviously free of charge and the shows that have already been realized in recent years (more than 60 exhibitions) have led to long-lasting work relationships.
This year, in addition to the 15 galleries that will award 15 solo exhibitions, a jury of curators assigns a purchase prize of 3.000 euros. Among the new awards, the opportunity to spend a month in an artist residency at the historic Villa Lais in Lazio. And, finally, a prize of 1.000 euros will go to the artist most voted online by the audience.
The prize is open to all artists with no restrictions on nationality, age, technique or any other factor. The entry fee is only 50 euro for three artworks. Each work more has a fee of 5 euro.
