Opening of the International contemporary art fair ART MOSCOW. A 17th edition completely renewed and improved

From September 18 to 22, it will be our pleasure to welcome you to the 17th and new Art Moscow. New and renewed. Renewed and improved. To address equally a new generation of art lovers and buyers as well as established collectors and professionals. A more compact gallery space with a strong accent on young galleries and young artists. A more affordable fair with a definite regional flavor. And a larger program of exhibitions and events.

When visiting the fair you will enjoy the 32 selected galleries from 12 countries, half of which first time participants, young galleries and more established galleries in equal number, offering a large spectra of works (from painting to digital art, video, photo, paper works, ceramic, installations…), from emerging artists to internationally recognized masters, sharing one space to create together a new impulse for the art market in Russia.

You will also enjoy the exciting and extended Art Moscow program of exhibitions, happenings and talks, in the fair's tradition of being one of the main platforms to support living artists, explore actual tendencies and promote the understanding and the significance of contemporary art for any society. Videonale 14 on tour (23 international works of video art), Positive/Negative (young conceptual artists from Poland,) eConsciousness (Science and Art exhibition in partnership with Moscow University), large private collections of Russian art, etc.

And remember that many exhibitions and events coincide with Art Moscow this year, among which the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary art, already in its 5th edition, the Piet Mondrian exhibition in Tretyakov Gallery, the exciting special exhibition of El Lissitzky, Ilya and Emilia Kabakov in MAMM, the great John Baldessari in Garage.
