Higher arts education in the choreographic and visual arts

States of the body/ Theatricalities of Art (SB/TA)
Launch of a training course combining dance, performance and the visual arts

The course aims to reinvent visions of the body by providing a professional and vocational training while ensuring the development of students' open-mindedness and adaptive abilities.
Rather than to train dancers, the purpose of this program is to stimulate young dancers and choreographers to become artists able to develop their own world and to participate in the invention of new forms. The goal, therefore, is to help individuals possess the skills inherent to a higher diploma in the arts –awarded after three and five years of study (Bachelor's and Master's degree).

The Institute of Arts and Choreography proposes as field of investigation: the relationship between man, and his intimate and individual space, both collective and public; the exhibition and representation of the body; and the interrogation of heterogeneous forms of art and language. In short, the training explores the possibilities for exchange and interaction between the body, the stage and the media for various artistic productions.
