Sotheby's Institute of Art has more than forty years of experience educating art world professionals and helping them launch their careers. Our MA in Art Business program in Los Angeles, founded by a groundbreaking partnership with Claremont Graduate University's Drucker School of Management, marks a unique approach to education at the intersection of art and commerce. The three-semester program is taught by art world scholars and business practitioners from both institutions and uniquely prepares students for careers in the international art markets.

The MA in Art Business curriculum is built on a framework of business, law, marketing and finance, supplemented by specialized modules in key subjects such as gallery and auction house operations, art collection management and art evaluation.
