LIVE ART : NEXT Conference 28 - 29 June 2012 in Linz, Austria
Take part on an informal conference to establish a Europe wide Live Art Event in connection and collaboration with other festivals and organizations.
Nothing has defined the work of DIE FABRIKANTEN over the last two years more strongly, than the permanent confrontation with Live Art during the design and implementation of the EXCHANGE RADICAL MOMENTS! Live Art Festival. The 'debate' on an international level took place through online and literature research as well as visiting performances on site and numerous conversations with Live Art event organizers, artists, curators and art theorists.
With the LIVE ART : NEXT Conference 2012 we want to continue cultivating and exploring possibilities of cooperation with representatives of different Live Art Institutions and hopefully releasing the pulse to develop new Live Art projects and maybe another Live Art Festival.
Open Call for Conference Participants
We encourage organizations to send a short proposal. In case you are operating independently in the field of Live Art and if you are interested in a Europe-wide cooperation, please contact us. You are looking for Live Art projects, turnning 'onlookers' into participants at eye level with 'the creators', takeing risks, suprising and blurring boundaries between disciplines? Then you´d better get in touch: moments@fabrikanten.at
