Dolly, You say you want a revolution
Kunstfort at Vijfhuizen, Holland

The project Dolly is a groupexhibition with artists that engage for a better environment. There are three ?growht’projects that take place on the surrounding terrain of the Kunstfort at Vijfhuizen.

Questions about Nature and Agriculture in relation to the urbanization of the Haarlemmermeerpolder are the starting-point for this exhibition. What is the transformation of the landscape doing to us; from the original outdoor nature to recreation area, the disappearing of agriculture as a foodprovider? Will it be necessary to be selfsupplying in the near future in a urbanized area? What can the green art-projects mean for our own living environment?

With the broad exhibitionproject ?Dolly’ we would like to show you that artist at this moment, at times of economical crises and cultural debats, connect with artistic traditions that focus on social envolvement. With her specific ambiance, the Kunstfort offers an extraordinary location.
