The publication DESTRÃ?Y DESIGN, consisting of pieces belonging to the collection of the Frac Nord-Pas de Calais explores two opposite positions concerning the 'designed object' : showing on one hand classical examples of famous avant-garde prototypes in confrontation with contemporary visions or transformations, who explore with a critical eye, but often also with dark humour the limits of the functional object. The critical viewpoints of contemporary artists are confronted with well-known classical models. This inspiring juxtaposition confronts us with interesting and daring viewpoints questioning the limits of each discipline.
