NEW DESIGN: EXHIBITION ON PAPER

METROPOLIS M is completely restyled. One of the new features is CURATED, a lengthy visual column that opens each issue. CURATED is an exhibition on paper, the first of which been provided by the New York artist, Paul Chan.

DEIMANTAS NARKEVICIUS; NICOLAS BOURRIAUD; ART FROM PALESTINE

In the framework of a major solo exhibition at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, we bring an interview with Deimantas Narkevicius. Christophe Gallois speaks with Nicolas Bourriaud, who curated the fourth Tate Triennial, dedicated to the 'Altermodern', and Nat Muller discusses young Palestinian art and its reflection on the role of Palestinians in the media.

SPECIAL: SHAREWARE

SPECIAL brings a series of articles on the popularity (and necessity) of collective work in today's art world. This 'second generation of relational aesthetics' connects the prevailing network culture with the introduction of alternative forms of production and distribution in art and culture. METROPOLIS M examines several different practices, including an extensive conversation with the French artists collective, Claire Fontaine.
