We need a dynamic Associate Professor to join the Department of Art, contributing to research, learning and teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Fine Art and Visual Cultures.
You will need an excellent record of practice-led and/or theoretical and/ or art historical research evidenced by international and national exhibition and/or publication.
You will have:
- PhD or equivalent professional experience in an appropriate field, a proven record of achievement in research at an exceptional level as artist, curator or writer
- Knowledge and experience of art education as it impacts on learning and teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary art and communicate that knowledge effectively and imaginatively
- Understanding of current developments in contemporary art and its critical and academic contexts
- Experience in programme development
