Interface Cultures at the University of Art and Design in Linz, Austria provides an internationally oriented master and research program in Interactive Digital Arts, led by Christa Sommerer & Laurent Mignonneau.

If you are interested in applying for the Interface Cultures master program, the registration time for the study year 2020/2021 is now open until 19th June, 2020. Entrance interview will take place on 1st July, 2020.

The Interface Cultures program has a close partnership with Ars Electronica and students projects are featured at the Ars Electronica Festival on a yearly basis.

* Study requirements *
To study at Interface Cultures you need a valid bachelor (or equivalent) degree to qualify for the admission to this master program. For EU-citizens the program is generally free of charge, non-EU-citizens currently have to pay a fee of 726,72 € per semester. Students can apply to university fee reduction funds.

* Language Skills *
German skills are not required to join the program. The master program is fully held in English language; our faculty also can support German, French, Spanish and Italian speaking students.

* Materials needed for the interview *
For the online registration you will have to provide a copy of your degree, along with a motivation letter, your CV and a portfolio of your works.
