How to Find and Land Your Dream Job in the Arts is the first in NYFA's Spring 2020 workshop series and is part of NYFA's Online Learning Initiative to provide professional development workshops to artists, arts administrators & arts professionals nationally and internationally through a webinar platform. The Spring series highlights NYFA Coaching, a professional development service that offers access to one-on-one individual guidance from a variety of arts professionals, including NYFA staff. Are you passionate about arts and looking for a career where you can contribute to a vibrant cultural sector? Join New York Foundation for the Arts' (NYFA) Tuesday, February 18 online workshop 'How to Find and Land Your Dream Job in the Arts' to learn how to define your career path, find opportunities, and navigate all stages of a job search from apply to interviewing to negotiating an offer.

This workshop, presented from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EST by NYFA Coach and Consultant Maria Villafranca, will give you a clearer sense of how to frame your career for new opportunities and essential strategies for landing your dream job in the visual, literary, or performing arts -- whether you are an entry-level job seeker or an experienced manager who is interested in a career transition. It will be recorded and shared with all previously-registered participants after the session concludes, and will be available for viewing up to 6 months after the workshop date.

Villafranca, who has held leadership positions at The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and NYFA, will walk you through:
