The Department of Site-Specific Art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna offers the possibility for a remote portfolio consultation via zoom on January 13, 2021.
Lecturers and the team of the department will be at zoom from 2 until 4 pm to answer all of your questions concerning our programme and your portfolio.

Please, pre-register via email: sitespecificart@uni-ak.ac.at

The Department of Site-Specific Art is part of the Institute of Fine Arts and Media Art.
The diploma program requires a minimum of eight semesters to complete.
Because of our international students and lecturers, classes are taught in German/English.

We encourage students to develop and implement their own ideas and projects; this includes:
- Theory and practice with a wide range of course offerings
- Studio spaces and equipment
- Public exhibition space for students of the department
- Exhibition and studio visits, field trips
- Lectures, workshops, and round table events with international guests
- Cross-disciplinary exchange and cooperation with students from painting, photography, graphic design,
sculpture, and media arts programs, among others
- International study abroad / exchange programs
- The university's annual exhibition
- Students and lectures with broad backgrounds
- Individual feedback
- Discussions and project work in groups
- Working with text
- Wood, metal, and mold-making and casting workshop
- Photo, video, and sound workshop

The usual application process and entrance examination for the Department of Site-Specific Art's programme requires your personal attendance. Given the current Covid-19 measurements, we have developed an Online Application Procedure. This grants all applicants the same conditions and requirements: www.ortsbezogenekunst.at/notes/view/bewerbung-application/en
