ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM
The Danube Art Lab – Centre for contemporary, interdisciplinary cultural practice in Regensburg, Germany.
THEME: 'HERITAGE – TODAY/TOMORROW'
The project 'HERITAGE – TODAY/TOMORROW' intends to interconnect the multi-layered history of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Regensburg with the present and the future.
The artistic intervention shall be realised in the public space in 2020.
Site specific art, sculptures, installations, new media, performances, photography, video …are welcome.
TIME
Applications are now open for DAL – Danube Art Lab 2019
HERITAGE – TODAY/TOMORROW in Regensburg.
In August and September 2019 the Artist in Residence Program is offering artists, designers and creative thinkers time, space and a supportive community to develop ideas for the UNESCO World Heritage City of Regensburg.
SPACE
Participants in the Residency Program have the benefit to work in the culturally rich and versatile UNESCO World Heritage City of Regensburg.
Inspiring studios and apartments are provided free of charge. Artist´s fee € 900.
COMMUNITY
Danube Art Lab provides a platform where participants can use various techniques in order to elaborate on the question: What does history mean today? Visual answers to this question connect artists, curators, historians, journalists and others in the Danube region, an area which combines a variety of cultures.
Meetings with artists, critics and curators supporting independent work.
