x Luxembourg – Forum d’art contemporain asbl is seeking to recruit on a permanent full-time basis:
an administrative and financial manager
Under the supervision of the Director, the administrative and financial manager will perform the following tasks:
- administrative, budgetary, financial, legal and social management of the not-for-profit association;
- preparation of the general budget and specific budgets in agreement with the Director;
- maintenance of a smooth administrative relationship with the regulatory authorities and financiers;
- preparation and follow-up of meetings of the structure's governing bodies (Board of Directors, General Meeting, etc.);
- monitoring of general and cost accounting;
- administrative and accounting follow-up of human resources;
- monitoring of activities.
Profile:
- training in cultural administration or management;
- proven experience in a similar position;
- administrative and legal expertise: budgetary management, accounting, labour law, contract law, human resources;
- sound knowledge of the cultural sphere and interest in contemporary art;
- good writing and interpersonal skills; managerial qualities;
- good team player with ability to work independently and show initiative and a strong sense of responsibility;
- thorough and adaptable with capacity for organisation and anticipation;
- fluency in French and English (knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be an asset);
- ability to use standard accounting software.
Place of work: Luxembourg City
Contract: permanent, 40 hrs/week;
