EUROPEAN ARTS MANAGEMENT FOR CULTURAL LEADERS AND ENTREPRENEURS (University Master's Programme)

'Successful management of a cultural business within an international context'

> CONTENTS AND OBJECTIVES

The Master of Arts in European Arts Management is a part-time, international programme that is taught entirely in English. It aims to support innovative cultural organisations and businesses worldwide, by strengthening the leadership and management skills required for them to thrive.

Central concerns are corporate cultural management and cross-border and interdisciplinary cooperation in and with European players. The course attaches great importance to actuality and practical relevance: Each participant realizes his own project and can thus directly apply and implement the learned contents.

Experts from European and Austrian Institutions in different fields of the Arts contribute to the EAM Master´s programme with lectures, study visits, research projects and fire sides talks.

The programme lasts from March 2018 – June 2019 and is closely linked to the art and festival scene. Three attendance phases take place in Graz, one in Brussels, each lasting from 8 – 12 days. The attendance phases will be connected to festivals and cultural events that take place at that time. This will provide opportunities to interact and network with local and international cultural managers and artists and to have an inspiring evening programme as well.

> TARGET GROUP

- Professional cultural managers who either hold or aspire to hold a management position in the cultural sector.
- Cultural entrepreneurs who are self-employed in creative industries.
