Q21 is pleased to present the Fani Zguro's solo screening 'A.C.A.S.' on February 23, 2017 from 18.00 to 19.00 h at Raum D - Museumsquartier in Vienna. This video presentation is part of Q21's program Artist-in-Residence, which Fani Zguro was invited from BMEIA during the period January-February 2017. 'A.C.A.S.' consists in the presentation of the videos: 'Broken Threads' (2007), 'Street by Street' (2007), 'Fireflies' (2011), 'U Turn' (2006), 'In a Blind of an Eye' (2008) and 'A.C.A.S.' (2011).

Fani Zguro was born in 1977 in Tirana. Lives and works in Berlin. Zguro was graduated at Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera in Milan (1998-2007). In 2007 he won the International Onufri Prize organized by National Gallery of Arts in Tirana; in 2016 the International Mulliqi Prize organized by the National Gallery of Kosovo in Prishtina and Best Video-Art organized by TIFF. Zguro is actually part of the program AiR at Q21, Museumsquartier in Vienna. He has exhibited at Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin, National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest, Musée des Civilisations de l'Europe et de la Mediterranée Marseille, Filmoteca Espanola Madrid, Docva Careof Milan, 2nd Tirana Biennale, 3rd Mardin Biennale, 4th Young Artists Biennale of Bucharest, Ludwig Museum Budapest, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka, Public Library New York and Centre Pompidou Paris.
