La terre nous est étroite whose title is borrowed from a poem by Mahmoud Darwich wishes to see through contemporary artists approaches how Palestine is an object and a subject of creation for palestinian and international artists. This creations shows what Palestine covers as multiple realities, and how it feeds in its complexity and history. Creation which registered the work in a documentary and poetic concern or narrative. This will be apprehend as many as the place of a culture and a national and historical reality, like space of conflict, and as a country marked by its partition, his occupation and denial of which he has been and still does. The exhibition also wants to make visible and tangible the daily life of a population living under occupation, despite herself. It aims to register through the works of the artists gathered here what is this people, his injuries and his mournings, dreams and hopes. But also of the ordinary in his life and contiguity between smiles and tears, serenity and suffering.
