Summer Course for Art History Faculty in Technical Art History
The Yale University Art Gallery and the Center for British Art are pleased to announce the 2015 Summer Teachers Institute in Technical Art History, to be held at Yale from July 27-31. This year's program will focus on 'Inherent Vice and Best Intentions,' and will introduce the accepted participants to technical art history through lectures, discussions, gallery visits, conservation lab tours, hands-on activities and more. Thanks to the generous support of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, all participants will receive local housing as well as a stipend to help defray travel costs. Open to art history faculty from North American institutions, applications are due April 15, 2015. Please visit our website for more information including how to apply.
