PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In celebration of Wroclaw's tenure as European Capital of Culture 2016, the Goethe-Institut is setting up a temporary exhibition and performance space in a public square of the city (probably the Plac Nowy Targ) for about three months (15 April to 15 July 2016) and in the form of an about 6x3x3m container, enclosed in glass on three sides (the 'Goethe-Institut Pop Up Pavilion'). The pavilion will serve as the basis for a site-specific, interdisciplinary cultural programme with a German-Polish focus, whose aim is to include the public and encourage it to participate.

We are looking for installations and actions in the fields of contemporary art, performance, music, dance, theatre, social experiment, etc., which can be realized in the Goethe-Institut Pop Up Pavilion.

Anyone who has the centre of his or her life in Germany or Poland.
