About the Fotobokfestival Oslo:

The Fotobokfestival Oslo is a collaboration between The Norwegian Association of Fine Art Photographers and Fotogalleriet, formerly known as the photobook seminar 'Flere Sider Fotografi / Various Sides of Photography', established in 2010. The festival aims to look at the phenomenon of the photo book, which is increasingly used both as an artistic tool and an alternative form for presenting photographic works. In 2014 the festival will consist of a lecture series and panel discussion focusing on photobook criticism as well as a presentation of the Nordic Dummy Award shortlisted photobooks, the International Dummy Award shortlisted books, the presentation of critics' favourite photobooks and the 2013 Nordic Dummy Award winner book.
Dates: 5 – 14 September, opening 4 September 2014. For further information on the programme please visit www.fotogalleriet.no and www.fffotografer.no from August 2014.
