O.R.A. is an art prize created to connect galleries and artists.
Every year, a jury composed entirely by galleries throughout Italy, selects an artist each to realize a solo exhibition. Shipping costs are covered by a reimbursement offered by the prize, the exhibitions are obviously free of charge and the shows that have already been organized in recent years (more than 60 exhibitions) have led to long-lasting work relationships.
This year, in addition to the 15 galleries that will award 15 solo exhibitions, a jury of curators assigns a purchase prize of 3.000 EUR. Among the new awards, the opportunity to spend one month in the art residency of the historic Villa Lais, in Lazio. And, finally, a prize of 1.000 EUR will go to the artist most voted online by the audience.
The prize is open to all artists with no restrictions on nationality, age, technique or any other factor. The entry fee is 50 EUR for three artworks. Each work more has a fee of only 5 EUR.
