PIESP - EXHIBITION at Escola São Paulo

The exhibition gathers the works of the 15 artists from the second edition of PIESP, the 'Independent Study Program at Escola São Paulo', which took place between August 2011 and June 2012. In this sense, the exhibition does not offer a thematic or conceptual framework, but aims at showing to the public recent works made by the young artists. The exhibition is organized by the participating curator of PIESP, Luiza Proença, with the program´s director, Adriano Pedrosa.

Dialogical Conference between Pablo Lafuente and Lisette Lagnado
Exhibition Histories: A critical alternative to the History of Art

The specificity of a new field of knowledge – Histories of Exhibitions – is the theme of the meeting that brings together Pablo Lafuente and Lisette Lagnado to discuss critical alternatives to the theory and history of art. The dialogic conference marks the launch of the preparatory seminars between São Paulo and London to an edition of the Exhibition Stories collection by Afterall Books publishing house, dedicated to the XXIV Bienal de São Paulo, of Paulo Herknhoff's and a Lisette Lagnado's essay.
