Featuring: trixxie carr, Honey Mahogany (San Francisco), Jeremy Bailey (Toronto), Ultra Violet Violence, The Volkov Commanders, Tranarchy and Eggs Collective (Manchester). DJs Pumping Iron.

No one should have to fight for the right to be awesome, yet ruling classes exist (royalty, government, capitalist and corporate), sometimes because they are revered and respected by their subjects, and sometimes through violent and oppressive regimes.

Faux queen Trixxie Carr, a born-female drag queen orphan from San Francisco, examines the right of those outside of the status quo ruling classes to succeed within them, regardless of birthright through lineage, and instead by right of being. As in being. Here. Alive!

Having made her mark in the now infamous, vomit-splattered, lap-dancing laced, live cinema experience that was Peaches Christ presents All About Evil at Cornerhouse in 2010 (when riot police arrived to calm the crowds and spoof protestors), trixxie carr returns from San Francisco with her own headline spectacular.

Accompanied by flawless Amazonian singer-songwriter Honey Mahogany, hybrid new-media interventions from Jeremy Bailey and the best of Manchester's bleeding-edge weirdness... from local avant-garde fashion designers and live artists The Volkov Commanders to party collective Tranarchy and whirling dervishes Ultra Violet Violence.

A unique blend of alt-drag, musical cabaret and riot-theatre will culminate in an outrageous finale (all will be revealed, quite literally) that becomes one huge party in the newly renovated club space at Gorilla (formerly Green Room).

Believing that everyone has the right to rule – whether in the context of being awesome onstage, or leading revolutions in art and culture to improve our time on earth – is to trixxie a personal choice, the success lies of which in action itself, the doing of the thing. She invites all of Manchester to RULE with her for AND Festival this year!
