ASPECT: The Chronicle of New Media Art, a biannual DVD publication, is pleased to announce the release of ASPECT Volume 19: Communication.

As the tools of communication continue to evolve, so does language itself. As globalization expands our notion of community and networked culture shrinks the boundaries between public and private, the strategies through which we communicate are thrown into question. In light of this questioning, Volume 19 features works that address language and communication as their primary subjects and tools.

Featuring work by:

Dirk Adams with commentary by Anna Stothart
Yolanda Dominguez with commentary by Ciuco Gutiérrez
Kevin Hamilton and Lara Scott with commentary by Matt Freedman
Rachel Perry Welty with commentary by Leonie Bradbury
James Sham with commentary by Nina Katchadourian and Sandra Skurvida
Elizabeth Watkins with commentary by Grant Wahlquist
I-Yeh Wu with commentary by Yu Ling Chou
