C-Collection is always looking to invest in remarkable and talented artists. The foundation's objective is to foster and promote creativity - regardless of religion or nationality. Subscriber users can participate in and influence purchasing decisions through an online vote to determine which of the most popular works submitted should be included in the collection. That is why we and the artists are always interested in your feedback.
Based on these facts, C-Collection is pleased to introduce the current work by Indian artist Abir Karmakar. In his paintings he questions the core concept of gender roles in today's society. Whether lying, sitting or standing, the painted character always faces the viewer in front of the painting. The viewer observes and being observed at the same time.
